Hi, I’m Ganga Narendran..

Today, while I’m leaping a step forward, a little closer to one of my dreams, Vedamithra, when I look back to the days I’ve come through..it has been a journey that I could have never dreamt of when I used to be a child.. 

Born to conservative-traditional family with a semi modern outlook, definitely,  the kind of ones that you see amongst your neighborhood, after my meritorious primary education at St. Joseph’s Anglo Indian Girls H.S.S., Kozhikode, out of my passion to become a doctor, I chose to expertise in the field of science. As always that a medical aspirant would, I was destined to become a part of the entrance rat races as well. I was fortunate enough to enroll and achieve my passion, with the help of my parents, faculties and friends at J.S.S. Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Mysore. I’m indeed grateful to my alma mater, for embarking me on a journey into the world of traditional medicines, Ayurveda, the most well-documented ancient holistic health care system for over 5000 years. 

The exposure I received at this prestigious institution, the guidance from my Profs Dr Guru Basavaraj, Dr Lakshmeesh Upadhya, Dr Beena Reddy, Dr Madhusudhan & to be precise, can you imagine attending just one seminar would inspire you to change up the mind you have made ? Yes, attending a seminar session of my guru, Dr Prasanna Narasimha Rao, introduced me to a broader world of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan and to the beautiful world of children. Pursuing my post graduation in Kaumarabrithya (Pediatrics), under the guidance of Dr Shailaja Rao and support of Dr Vijayalaxmi, Dr Nayan, Dr Arun Raj, Dr Kannan Sagar and all my most beloved seniors and juniors, have definitely carved me to be a better Doctor and moulded me to be a person of humanitarian values. The hands on experience, practical exposure and the positive support that I received from health seekers have encouraged me to practice authentic Ayurveda.

Practicing as an Ayurvedic Pediatrician and working as an Assistant Professor, currently at Bapuji Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Chitradurga, have helped me discover the innate potentials in me. 

Vedamithra, is one step ahead, closer to my passion and dreams, which will help you discover your innate potential for wellness and learn the common sense tools you need to maintain health in all facets of living. Hopefully, this small initiative will attract the mankind across the globe, to embrace this simple but powerful holistic science of medicine, optimaly practice the sound ones among them, to bring in contentment, without losing it’s serenity – to make it a well acceptable and first line of choice of treatment around the globe.
